Jetstar Airways is a subsidiary of Qantas Airline. And of course this airline is based in Australia as we know where Qantas headquarter is, Melbourne to be precise. Established in 2003, Jetstar is also have their ’sister airline’, Jetstar Asia Airways which based in Singapore. Qantas has a 42.5% stake in Jetstar Asia’s ownership. This shows the intention of Qantas to compete with the major airline of this country, Singapore Airline. Valuair Airbus A320

Valuair is the low cost carrier airline based in Singapore. This Airline with IATA code: VF and ICAO code: VLU was established in 2004. Currently Valuair only serves flights between Singapore and Indonesia. They focus in several cities in Indonesia such Jakarta, Medan, Surabaya and Denpasar. Previously Valuair served schedules to cities in China such Hongkong, Xiamen, Chengdu, also to Thailand and Australia, but they have stopped these schedules in 2005. At this present time Valuair have two A320-200 in their fleet which are registered as 9V-VLA and 9V-VLB. And also in 2005 Valuair announced the merge plan with Jetstar Asia, also a Singapore based Airline.
