Interesting livery! That is my first opinion when I saw this livery on my friend diecast. I ask him “What airline is it?” and he answered that this is an LCC of Saudi Arabia..Sama Airlines. Sama commence their flights during the first quarter of 2007. Based in Sharjah International Airport, this airline serve flights between cities in Saudi Arabia Kingdom. Sama operates a fleet of Boeing 737-300 aircraft, which are leased from major worldwide lessors and maintained by SR Technics. Uhm, the information is valid at 2007 I guess. Maybe now they already have many aircrafts…I’m not updating yet..

This 737-300 with registration HZ-DMO. And I have Information that “DMO” stands for David Moore” this guy is the first person who worked in this company (Correct me if i’m wrong) :) .

Okay, thats it for the story. as per normal this texture is fit for Wilco/Feelthere Boeing 737-300 PIC and you can download at Download page. And uhm…I think I’ve made a mistake in the ReadMe file. There should be “Put your texture.sama in…bla bla bla” its not a big deal :)

Happy Flying Folks!

Hello again simmers! Merpati Nusantara Airlines, is another Indonesian’s Airline. This Airline is Indonesian Government’s enterprise beside Garuda Indonesia. Merpati Nusantara has a lot of  their flight services in the east area of Indonesia. One of their fleet is Boeing 737-300 with registration PK-MBP.

There’s a story about this aircraft. On January,28 2008, PK-MBP started their flight from Sentani Airport – Jayapura (DJJ) with destination Mopah Airport – Merauke (MKQ) with flight number MZ774. While this Aircraft was landing on Mopah’s runway suddenly there’s a cow…yes a cow was crossing the runway. The impact of the collision damaged the plane’s left engine but all of the 141 passengers of flight MZ774 were safe and unharmed. “The calf was running fast from Jati kampong which is located east of the airport, so the plane could not avoid hitting the animal”, a spokeman said. Poor cow…this accident wouldn’t gonna happened if he request the ATC clearence first…LoL..

Okay, please enjoy…be very careful..don’t hit the cow :D
